1 1/2 kg of jaboticaba

3 spoons of cornstarch

Cut the jaboticabas and remove only the pits
Place in a pressure cooker with 2 cups of water
Cook in the pressure cooker for 1 hour
Add the remaining ingredients except for the cornstarch
Cook stirring for 15 minutes
Combine the cornstarch and cook stirring until it thickens slightly
Store in the refrigerator in sterilized glass jars and seal well
Serve accompanying roasted or smoked meats.
