1/2 cup of confectioner's sugar
1 whipped egg white
1/4 teaspoon of almond extract (optional)
1/4 cup of maraschino cherries, chopped
1/2 cup of confectioner's sugar

Gradually add the confectioner's sugar to the whipped egg white until stiff peaks form
Add the almond extract and chopped cherries, and mix well
Cover the cake and decorate with some whole cherries.
