    Follow these steps and you'll be frying eggs like a pro: grease a non-stick skillet with butter, preferably (Photo 1). Place the skillet over low heat and let it cook for a few minutes. Crack the egg into a small bowl and pour it onto the skillet (Photo 2). Season with salt, cover the skillet, and let it cook to your desired level of doneness: creamy yolk or firmer (Photo 3). This way, the egg won't stick to the bottom of the skillet, nor will the yolk burst, even if you reduce the amount of fat.
