3 cups of water
1/2 kg of mixed fruits (pears, figs, damsons, plums, tamarinds)
1 cup of black cherries without pits
1/2 cup of raisins or your preferred jelly
1 cup of seedless cherries
2 peeled and sliced apples
1 cup of apricots
1 sliced lemon
6 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1 orange, peeled and segmented
1/2 cup of fresh grapes or cherries without pits
1/2 cup of brandy
2 thickly sliced bananas
3 cups of water

In a large pot with a capacity for 6 liters, bring the water, mixed fruits, black cherries, and raisins to a boil over high heat
When the mixture comes to a boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until the fruits are tender
Add the cherries, apples, apricots, lemon, and spices
Cover and simmer for an additional 5 minutes over low heat
Grate the orange peel and set aside
Remove the orange peel, cut it into gummies, and add it to the pot with the fruit mixture
Add the fresh grapes or cherries, bananas, and let the mixture come to a boil again
Remove from heat and mix in the reserved orange peel, stirring well
Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
