1/2 kg of figs
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of water
3 slices of lemon peel
1/2 kg of figs
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of water

Wash the figs thoroughly and set aside
In a saucepan, combine the sugar with the water and bring to low heat
Simmer for 5 minutes
Add the whole figs and 3 lemon slices
Cook for approximately 20 minutes or until the figs become transparent
Let it cool and store the figs in sealed containers in the refrigerator.
