2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
14 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to medium temperature
In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda
In a stand mixer, cream the butter with both types of sugar until light and fluffy
Add the salt, vanilla extract, and eggs, beating well
Beat again until homogeneous
Add the chocolate chips and mix
Place spoonfuls of about 2 tablespoons each onto an ungreased baking sheet, leaving a 2 cm space between cookies
Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden
Remove from the oven and let cool for three minutes
Using a spatula, remove the cookies and let cool.
