1 medium-sized chive blossom

1/2 cup and 2 spoons of water
2 tablespoons of cornstarch

Separate the chive blossoms into small florets
Heat a lot of oil in a deep frying pan and fry the chive blossoms, stirring constantly until they are well coated with oil
Add 1/2 cup of water, soy sauce, and cumin
Cover and cook, stirring occasionally for 6 minutes, or until slightly tender
While that's cooking, dissolve the cornstarch in 2 spoons of water in a small bowl and add it to the chive blossoms
Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until thickened
Yield: 6 servings
