2 tablespoons of fresh or canned whipped cream
Wash the grapes and divide them among five large wine glasses or bowls
Mix together the sugar and eggs, beat with an electric mixer or whisk until smooth and creamy
Add the champagne and whipped cream
Place over simmering water in a bain-marie and beat for 5 minutes or until soft peaks form when lifting the mixer
Remove from heat and pour over the grapes
Serve warm or chilled
