3 cups of roasted peanuts without shells
1/2 tablespoon of baking soda

Grease a large sheet of parchment paper with butter and reserve
In a medium saucepan, combine the peanut butter and corn syrup and bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes or until a dark liquid forms
Add the roasted peanuts and stir well
Remove from heat, add baking soda and stir rapidly
Pour onto the parchment paper and spread
When cooled, remove the paper and place the candy on a wooden cutting board
Break into irregular pieces using a hammer.
