1 cup of granulated sugar
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened

2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of active dry yeast
1 pinch of salt
200g of strawberry preserves, cut into fine slices
4 bananas, sliced lengthwise

Preheat the oven to 400°F
Beat the granulated sugar, unsalted butter, and egg yolks until well combined and light
Add the whole milk, alternating with the flour, yeast, and salt
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form
Fold them into the mixture above
Pour half of the batter into a 9x13 inch baking dish, greased and floured
Distribute the strawberry preserves and cover with the remaining batter
Arrange the banana slices on top and dust with granulated sugar and cinnamon
Bake until lightly browned
Let it cool, cut into squares, and serve immediately.
