10 ears of green cornmeal
2 1/2 cups of milk
1 cup of sugar

Grate the green cornmeal using a grater and scrape off any excess with a knife
Place the grated green cornmeal in a fine cloth (like cheesecloth) and moisten it with a little milk
Squeeze out as much liquid as possible, reserving the pulp for making a moist cornmeal cake recipe
In a saucepan, combine the milky pulp with sugar and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and shiny
Pour into a serving dish or decorative mold
Let cool and refrigerate until chilled
Unmold and serve
