In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and make a hole in the center
gradually add
the butter, yeast, honey, water, and mix until a ball forms
Preheat Oven

Transfer the mixture to a floured surface and knead until smooth

Roll out the dough and place it on a prepared baking sheet
greased with butter
Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden
Remove from oven and let cool
Cake Topping
No processor, mix together the figs, currants, lime juice, and water to form a smooth paste
If using blender, cut the figs into pieces and blend slowly
Assemble
Cover the dough with the fig paste and smooth with a spatula
Cut into 2 x 3 cm rectangles and decorate each piece with almonds
To Serve
Glaze with honey
