Bring a large pot of water to a boil
Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and cut them into strips
Place them in a bowl, add garlic, 5 tablespoons of olive oil, and basil leaves
Let it sit for a few minutes
When the water boils, add salt and spaghetti
Cook until al dente
Drain and place on top of the tomato mixture
Add the remaining olive oil and Parmesan cheese
Season with black pepper to taste
