In a covered saucepan, cook the tomatoes in water until they're very tender
Remove them with a slotted spoon, process them briefly through a processor, and reserve
In a saucepan with olive oil, sauté the onion and garlic until starting to brown
Add the tomato and season with salt and black pepper
Stir well
In a large pot, cook plenty of boiling water with salt to al dente pasta
Drain and serve immediately with the hot sauce
