1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cups of toasted cassava flour

Fry the onion in dendê oil until it becomes soft
Add the flour and mix well to transform it into a loose and dry farofa
Season to taste
If desired, fry together with the onion 1/4 cup of cooked and shelled shrimp or even fresh ones, as long as they are deshelled and cooked.
