2 cups of uncooked rice
4 cups of boiling water
2 teaspoons of salt
1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
5 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons of diced ham
2 eggs
2 cups of uncooked rice
4 cups of boiling water

Bring the water to a boil, add salt, pepper, nutmeg and butter
Stir well
Add the rice when the water is boiling
Let it cook in low heat with a covered pan, until the water has evaporated
Mix in the parsley, Parmesan cheese, ham and beaten eggs
Shape into a sticky mass and press into a small baking dish, forming a layer about 1 cm thick
Wait for it to cool
Cut into rectangular slices, coat with breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil
Serve with mixed salad as an appetizer.
