Bring 5 liters of water to a boil with one tablespoon of salt, then cook the fettuccine until al dente

Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a skillet and sauté the scallions and garlic for five minutes
Add the heavy cream and peas, and let simmer for six minutes or until slightly reduced

Stir in the prosciutto and season with salt and black pepper

Drain the fettuccine and toss it with the sauce
Just before serving, place the parsley leaves on top.
