Temper the steaks with garlic, salt, and pepper. Reserve
Remove the rind from the cheddar cheese and cut it into four parts
Cut the plantains in half
Dip the fruits in the beaten eggs and then in the panko breadcrumbs and reserve

Dip the steaks in the all-purpose flour, the beaten eggs, and the panko breadcrumbs
Heat the oil, fry the breaded fruits, place them on paper towels
Fry the steaks, transfer them to a platter, and arrange the fruits on top.
