Coat the filets with flour and reserve
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over high heat
Add the garlic and filets, cover, and cook until browned
Flip the filets and cook for an additional 2 minutes on each side
Remove from heat and reserve on a platter
Pour in the red wine and let simmer for 1 minute
Add the filets, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until tender (about 10 minutes), flipping halfway through
Remove from heat, place back on the platter, and serve
