1 kg of fish fillets

3 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine
2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
4 diced tomatoes
1/4 cup of green pepper
1 tablespoon of salt
1 dash of black pepper
1 sprig of bay leaf
1 clove of garlic

Cook the onion in butter until soft
Add the all-purpose flour and mix well
Combine the remaining ingredients, excluding the fish fillets
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly
Remove the bay leaf and garlic
Arrange the fish in a greased baking dish and cover with the sauce
Bake in a moderate oven until tender
Serve hot
