Preheat the oven to 200°C
Mince the garlic and mix it with the butter
Rub the mixture onto the filet
Season with salt and pepper

Place in the oven for 35 minutes, basting every five minutes with melted butter on the baking sheet
Transfer the meat to a platter and cut into slices

Put half a cup (stick) of water in the baking sheet, scrape the bottom with a spoon and simmer over low heat for five minutes to reduce it slightly
