Prepare the mushrooms according to the recipe that follows, then set them aside
Quickly sear the beef slices on both sides in a hot frying pan
Remove the beef, reduce the heat slightly
Melt the butter or margarine in the same frying pan
Place the beef back in the pan, season with salt and pepper, and fry for 3-4 minutes per side
Place a slice of beef on each toasted bread slice and top with the mushrooms, prepared as follows: Wash the mushrooms
Remove the stems
Chop the stems
Melt butter or margarine in a small pan and add lemon juice
Add the mushrooms and fry, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes; remove with a slotted spoon
Fry the chopped stems in the same pan
In a small bowl, combine the pork pâté and cream, mixing until smooth
Reheat if necessary
Stuff the mushrooms with the mixture, then place on top of the beef and serve.
