a pinch of salt

2 tablespoons of kirsch or brandy

Mix the cheese with the flour
Rub the fondue pan with common or special garlic
Add the wine, heat it over low flame until it almost reaches a boil
Add the cheese; stir until it melts
Add the salt, pepper, and brandy
When the mixture starts to bubble, it's ready
Do not remove from the fire
Bring it to the table on a spirit burner or other heat source
Let each person spear their bread with a fork and then dip it into the cheese, stirring it
If the fondue becomes too thick, you can add a little warmed wine.
