Preheat the oven
Combine the onion, water, ketchup, pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, lime zest, and lemon juice in a saucepan; cook slowly for 5 minutes
Brush the chicken pieces on both sides with the sauce and place them in a greased baking dish, skin side down
Bake for 20 minutes
Flip the chicken pieces, brush with the remaining sauce, and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the chicken is tender
Serve in 6 portions.
