One can of corn
Three-quarters cup milk
Two soup spoons melted butter or margarine
Half cup all-purpose flour
Three-quarters teaspoon active dry yeast
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 eggs, beaten
Oil for frying

Sift the corn into a fine-mesh strainer, pressing down hard
Reserve the liquid
Use one-fourth cup of it and add milk
Mix all ingredients together (except oil)
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan to 1.5 cm depth
Fry the batter by spoonfuls, golden brown on both sides
Serve 4-6 pieces.
