Combine the oranges and lemons with water and let it rest for 24 hours
Strain the liquid and divide it into two halves
Divide the fruit in half and add to the liquid in two pans
Cook without a lid for 45 minutes until the volume has reduced by half
Strain the juice and pulp, and mix in 3/4 to 1 cup of sugar per cup of pulp
Mix well
Cook until it reaches the gelatin point
Pour into sterilized containers and seal tightly
Fill approximately 12 containers.
