In a large pan, combine the olive oil, butter, and onions and sauté over high heat, stirring occasionally, until the onions are lightly caramelized
Add the beef and cook until it loses its red color
Season with salt
Reduce heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for 1 hour and 30 minutes, adding water as needed to form a sauce and tenderize the beef
Add the tomato extract and paprika and mix well
Serve immediately.
