1 kg of beef cut into small cubes
120 g of smoked sausage
4 large onions, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup tomato paste
4 cups beef broth
1 sprig of rosemary
4 cloves
parsley
1 tablespoon caraway seeds (Kümmel)
1 crushed garlic clove
2 tablespoons sweet paprika
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Fry the sausage
Remove any excess fat and set aside
In the remaining fat, sauté the onions until they're browned
Add the beef broth, green pepper, rosemary, garlic, cloves, parsley, and caraway seeds
Stir well
Add the beef and cook until it's tender
After that, add the butter, sweet paprika, and flour
Stir well
Then, add the tomato paste and 1 cup of water
Simmer for another half hour, stirring occasionally
When ready, add the fried sausage
Serve with macaroni
