6 patties for burgers
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1/4 cup of hot sauce
1/4 cup of pickles
750g of ground beef or 6 frozen burger patties
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
6 lettuce leaves
6 tomato slices
6 cheese slices or Gouda
6 thin onion rings

1/2 cup of mayonnaise

Mix the mayonnaise, hot sauce, and pickles, and refrigerate
Lightly mix the ground beef with salt and pepper, and shape into 12 thin burgers
Melt the butter and fry the burger patties to desired level
Cut the buns in half, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half, add a burger patty, top with tomato, sauce, another burger patty, cheese, onion, more sauce, and the top bun
If desired, serve with crispy fried onions rings made by slicing onions into 1/2 cm thick rings, separating them, soaking in milk, then dredging in flour, and frying in hot oil
Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.
