6 French bread slices
1/3 cup water
4 tablespoons chopped parsley
4 tablespoons mustard
1 lightly beaten egg
1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
black pepper
250g fresh pork sausage, peeled
250g ground beef, 1 medium onion, finely chopped, 1 clove garlic, minced
6 French bread slices
1/3 cup water

250g fresh pork sausage, peeled

Cut the bread in half lengthwise
Remove the filling, leaving a shell about 0.5 cm thick
Chop the filling into small pieces
Place it in a bowl and add water, parsley, mustard, egg, oregano, and black pepper to taste
Heat the oven to 200Β°C
Cook the sausage, beef, onion, and garlic until the sausage and beef are cooked through
Drain excess fat if necessary
Mix with the egg
Divide between the bread halves and place in an ungreased baking dish
Melt the butter and brush over the filling
Bake for 15 minutes or until hot and golden brown
Use fresh sausage if desired
Serve 12 slices
