1 chopped onion
1 minced garlic
2 tablespoons butter
1 kg diced tomatoes without peel and seeds
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 package pre-cooked lasagna noodles
500 g shredded leftover chicken
250 g sliced mozzarella cheese
Grated cheddar cheese for serving

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C)
Sauté the onion and garlic in butter
Add the tomatoes and cook for 20 minutes over low heat
Add baking soda and season with salt, black pepper, and parsley
In a greased baking dish make layers of tomato sauce, lasagna noodles, chicken, and mozzarella cheese
Finish with a layer of mozzarella cheese and bake for 15 minutes or until the sauce starts to bubble
Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese and serve immediately.
