250g unsalted butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 3/4 to 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
150g confectioners' almond flour, sifted
vanilla extract
Beat the butter and granulated sugar together in a bowl until smooth
Add the flour and confectioners' almond flour, working the dough with your hands until it becomes pliable
Shape into small crescent-shaped rolls, about 10 cm in length
Arrange the rolls on a lightly floured baking sheet
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown
Carefully remove the rolls from the baking sheet, as they are fragile
Dust with vanilla extract while still warm
Optional: Dip the tips of the crescent-shaped rolls into melted chocolate for an elegant finish.
