400 g of whole wheat macaroni (available at supermarkets)
4 garlic scapes, washed and cut into slices (use only the white part)
4 tablespoons of light margarine
100 g of cooked ham in thin slices
1 tablespoon of ground cumin
4 tablespoons of fresh cream
Salt and black pepper to taste

Heat 3 tablespoons of margarine and sauté the garlic scapes
Season with salt and black pepper
Add half of the ground cumin and cook over medium heat until the garlic scapes become soft
Cube the cooked ham and fry it in the remaining margarine until golden brown
Add the remaining ground cumin and let it simmer for another minute
Cook the pasta according to the manufacturer's instructions
While that cooks, whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks and reserve
Pour into a serving dish and mix in the garlic scapes and ham
Gently fold and serve each portion with 1 tablespoon of whipped cream
Decorate with additional ground cumin.
