1 cup unsweetened milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Heat a saucepan over low heat with milk, flour previously dissolved and salt
Stir with a wooden spoon until it thickens and starts to form bubbles
Remove from the heat and let cool, combining mustard and lemon juice
Mix well
Note: The flavor can be varied by adding ketchup or Worcestershire sauce.
