2 tablespoons of olive oil or vegetable oil
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup of green pepper, finely chopped
1 large clove of garlic, mashed
1/4 cup of dry white wine
1 can of tomato sauce (1 1/2 cups)
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of paprika
1.5 kg of frozen fish fillets, slightly thawed and cut into 4 pieces

Heat the olive oil or vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the onion, green pepper, and garlic until soft
Add the white wine, then the tomato sauce, bay leaf, salt, and paprika
Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes
Add the fish fillets, cover again, and cook for 20 minutes or until the fish is cooked
Remove the bay leaf and, if desired, garnish with chopped fresh parsley
Serve in 4 portions.
