1/2 cup of red wine

Mix the flour with salt and pepper
Place the beef in a medium-sized refrigerator and coat with the flour mixture
Pour in the red wine, beef broth, and glaze
Cover with plastic wrap, leaving a small opening
Cook in the microwave on medium power for 25 minutes
Sprinkle the beef with brown sugar and rosemary
Arrange the onion and apple slices around the beef
Return to the microwave and cook on medium power for an additional 20 minutes
Remove the beef and reserve
Glaze
Dissolve the cornstarch in beef broth
Combine the glaze mixture with the sauce formed in the refrigerator and mix well
Heat the glaze in the microwave on medium power, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes or until it thickens slightly
Slice the beef into strips and serve with the glaze.
