1/2 cup of milk
1/3 cup of dark chocolate
3 tablespoons of cornstarch
1 pinch of salt
2 1/2 cups of whole milk
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
1/2 cup of milk
1/3 cup of dark chocolate

2 1/2 cups of whole milk
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
In a saucepan, mix the milk, dark chocolate, cornstarch, and salt
A little at a time, add the whole milk, stirring well to combine
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens
Cook for an additional 2 or 3 minutes
Add the vanilla
Pour the mixture into 5 or 6 servings
Chill in the refrigerator
If desired, serve with whipped cream
Prepare the dessert, then leave it in the refrigerator for as long as you like.
