Mix and sift the first four ingredients
Add the butter and mix lightly
Add 1/2 cup of milk gradually, mixing well
Divide the dough into two parts
Roll out each part into a circle on a floured surface
Cut each circle into 8 triangles
Wrap each one starting from the tip
Bend to form the crescent shape
Dip in remaining 1 tablespoon of milk
Bake in a hot oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
