1 kg of clams

Cook the clams in their shells for about 10 minutes
Remove the clams from their shells
Mix the vinegar and water; simmer for 2 minutes; sauté the garlic and onion in a little oil for some minutes
Add the vinegar, water, bay leaves, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes over low heat
Let it cool down
Strain the liquid over the clams and let it rest in the refrigerator
Serve cold, strained.
