2 packets of fresh active dry yeast for bread (30g)
2 eggs
1 cup of whole milk
2 teaspoons of salt
1/4 cup of light margarine
5 cups of all-purpose flour, approximately
1 egg yolk for brushing
Filling
150g of lean ham in slices
150g of mozzarella cheese in slices

Filling
150g of lean ham in slices
150g of mozzarella cheese in slices
Beat the yeast, eggs, milk, salt, and margarine in a blender until well combined
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and gradually add the flour, mixing with your hands until a dough forms and divides into 20 equal pieces
Shape each piece into a ball and cover with a cloth
Let rise until doubled in volume
With your hands, open each ball into a rectangle shape and place one slice of cheese and one slice of ham on top
Form the pãozinhos (small breads) and arrange them in a greased baking dish
Let rest for 10 minutes and brush each pãozinho with an egg yolk
Bake in a medium preheated oven.
