In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat for 30 seconds to one minute
Then, add the garlic and stir until golden brown
Add the tomato puree and then the tomatoes themselves
Let it simmer for three minutes with the lid closed, stirring every 30 seconds
Add the parsley and let it simmer for another five minutes, still with the lid closed, and stirring every 30 seconds
Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed
Don't forget to add the oregano.
