3 egg yolks

1 cup of scalded milk
1/2 cup of heavy cream from a can, or Chantibon

Place the egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla in a blender
Blend on high speed, remove the lid, and add the milk
Pour this mixture into a saucepan over low heat
Stir constantly, lifting the pan if it starts to get too hot
Place the bowl over crushed ice to cool, stirring occasionally
Add the heavy cream or Chantibon and stir well.
