Grind the linguiça and onion in a meat grinder, blender, or Braun multipractor
Wet the olive oil, add the ground linguiça and onion, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
Add the tomato pulp, sweet herb seeds, and cover the pan
Cook over low heat for 5 minutes
Taste and season with salt and black pepper to taste, then stir well
Yield approximately 3 cups.
