2 cups of chopped fresh spinach

2 tablespoons of toasted nuts

1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

Place the spinach, salt, black pepper, garlic, nuts, and 1 cup of olive oil in a blender
Blend on high speed until well mixed
Stop the blender several times and scrape down with a spatula
The sauce should not be too thick
If it is, add more olive oil
Remove from blender and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh spinach can be substituted with dried spinach or parsley
Store in the refrigerator for up to one week
Serve 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
