1 kg of peeled tomatoes

In a pan with some oil, sauté the onion and garlic
Add the tomatoes, salt, and black pepper
Cook for approximately 20 minutes, stirring occasionally
If the tomato sauce is too acidic, add a pinch of sugar
After cooking, use a blender or food processor to puree the larger chunks of tomato.
