In a blender, puree the tomatoes, tomato paste extract, water, and sugar

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes

Finely chop the garlic and onion, and cut the bacon into small pieces

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat
Add the garlic, onion, and bacon
Cook until the mixture is golden brown

Add the oregano, salt, and pureed tomato mixture to the pan
Simmer for 30 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
