3/4 cup of finely chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic minced
3/4 cup of finely chopped green pepper
6 tablespoons of butter
4 cups of cooked tomatoes
3/4 cup of red wine
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
3/4 cup of beef broth
One tablespoon of cumin
One teaspoon of salt
Black pepper, freshly ground

Sauté the onion, garlic, and green pepper in butter for 5 minutes
Add the tomatoes, wine, salt, and black pepper
Mix well
Mix the cornstarch with cold beef broth and cumin, then add to the mixture above, stirring well
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook until thickened, stirring constantly
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes
Serve with hot dogs, ham, or other pork dishes.
