Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)
Grease 14 muffin tin cups with butter
Sift together flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl
In another bowl, combine egg, oil, and milk
Mix until well combined using a fork
Make a depression in the center of the dry ingredients and add the wet mixture all at once
Mix gently until the dry ingredients are fully incorporated
Do not overmix the batter
Take 1/4 cup of batter and place it in each muffin tin cup
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Remove from oven and gently loosen the edges with a knife
Unmold and serve warm, accompanied by ice cream, butter, or honey
