juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tablespoons gelatin in powder
1/2 cup hot orange juice
1/3 cup grated carrot
2 cups mango diced into small cubes
1 cup fresh or canned whipped cream
crushed ice
rum (optional)

Place the lemon juice, gelatin, and hot orange juice in a blender cup
Tamp and blend at high speed for about 40 seconds
Add the grated carrot, tamp, and blend again for about 3 seconds
Remove the tamper and, without shutting off the motor, add the mango, whipped cream, and crushed ice to just cover the liquid in the blender
Shut off the motor and let it rest for 1 minute
Serve in glasses
If desired, add 1 tablespoon of rum to each glass
Let it sit for 6 hours
