Wash the canjiquinha thoroughly
Place it in a pressure cooker with water and salt
Close and bring to a boil over high heat for 10 minutes
Remove from heat and open the pressure cooker
The canjiquinha should be soft

Add milk, cornstarch, and cook stirring occasionally until the bottom of the pan is visible (around 40 minutes)
Add half of the grated coconut and mix
Remove from heat, wet the baking sheet, and spread the canjiquinha
Sprinkle the remaining grated coconut
When cooled, cut into small squares and serve.
